Amani Water is widely recognised as the leading piped water available in Nairobi Utawala Area and is used by an ever growing range of discerning Schools, Churches, Homes, hotels, restaurants, bars, and clubs across Utawala Nairobi. Our story
Amani drive investments limited started as Amani drive Association water project (ADWAP) and was registered on 11TH October 2011 as a community project. The main objective of the project was to empower the community in and around Amani Drive Courts to be self-reliant as far as domestic water supply is concerned. This was achieved by drilling a borehole in 2012 within the residential court, developing a platform with raised tanks and laying a distribution network along and around the courts.
ADWAP changed from a community project to a limited company, Amani Drive Investments Limited, (ADIL) and was registered and incorporated on 8th December 2014. The company has 33 active shareholders and is managed by a Board of Directors.
As the demand for water grew tremendously, ADIL was not able to meet the water supply needs. This occasioned the drilling of a second-high yielding water borehole in 2017. The infrastructure was also enhanced to be able to cover all the customers who expressed the need for a connection.
The company operates several water kiosks to its neighbouring areas through which those that are not able to connect to the supply can as well access save water for their domestic use.
It is currently one of the biggest suppliers of piped water in Utawala. Currently supply piped water over six hundred households.
OUR STRENGTH
The company has two boreholes with enough capacity to serve the entire surrounding community without experiencing scarcity of the commodity. Our supply system runs twenty-four hours daily and the team of qualified system attendants ensures that the customers technical needs is met promptly. The company operates an efficient customer service desk which is coordinated by a competent team to meet the daily need of our customers.
Our infrastructure is established on quality high range of underground piping which is able to withstand pressure hence minimal cases of leakage.
The company has installed and commissioned the state-of-the-art Reverse Osmosis machine one of the most advanced of it's kind to purify water and packge in bottles suitable for drinking.
